Archive: Enabling the Resource Manager CMC Plug-in on a Workstation

To administer the Resource Manager properties of a MetaFrame XP farm from a workstation, perform the following steps:

1. Install Resource Manager on at least one MetaFrame XPe server.

2. Install CMC using the Setup program on the MetaFrame XP server CD:

XP_ServerCD:Administrationsetup.exe

3. From the MetaFrame server on which you installed Resource Manager in Step 1, copy the following files to their corresponding locations on the workstation:

• %ProgramFiles%CitrixAdministrationPluginsResourceManager.jar

• %ProgramFiles%CitrixAdministrationHelp ms20.jar

• %ProgramFiles%JavaSoftJRE1.3libextase.jar

• %ProgramFiles%JavaSoftJRE1.3libextDataTransform.jar

• %ProgramFiles%JavaSoftJRE1.3libextDate.jar

• %ProgramFiles%JavaSoftJRE1.3libextline.jar

4. Restart CMC on the workstation.
