If your NFuse Classic 1.7 web server reports error 404 File Not Found when attempting to load the NFuse Classic administrative tool, download an ICA client or log into Enterprise Services for NFuse, you may need to edit the document root of your web site.
Citrix NFuse Classic 1.7 for Windows/IIS places four important subfolders beneath the web server document root:
1. /Citrix/NFuse17 - ASP pages that display NFuse to end users
2. /Citrix/icaweb - ICA Client files that are delivered to users via the NFuse web site
3. /Citrix/NFuseAdmin - ASP pages that display the web-based administrative tool, an alternative to manually editing NFuse.conf
4. /Citrix/NFuseEnterprise - ASP pages that display NFuse to end users when NFuse Classic is running in Entperprise Services mode
NOTE: The NFuseEnterprise is not included by default on MetaFrame XP servers with Feature Release 2. To add this folder, you must install NFuse Classic 1.7 separately.
The proper functioning of these subdirectories depends on their relation to the document root (wwwroot) of the IIS web server. The document root should be the folder containing the Citrix folder, so that the NFuse Classic 1.7 user pages are accessed with the URL http://your-NFuse-server/Citrix/NFuse17.
Attempting to make the NFuse login page appear at the root of your web server by changing your document root to the NFuse17 folder will render inoperable the web-based administrative tool, the ability to download ICA clients, the ability to launch embedded Java applications, and the ability to run NFuse Classic in Enterprise Services mode.
