Symptoms or Error
The following errors are displayed when launching desktops or apps through NetScaler Gateway:
Failed with status 1110
The connection to "Desktop" failed with status (Unknown client error 1110)
Solution

Complete the following troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue:

Generate and install a new server certificate on the NetScaler Gateway VIP, if the server certificate is expired.

Ensure that the CA certificates are installed and linked on the NetScaler. If you have a root, Intermediate and server certificate, then refer to CTX114146 - How to Install and Link Intermediate Certificate with Primary CA on NetScaler Gateway to understand how to link them together.??

Verify if the firewall is blocking DNS UDP port 53 on the NetScaler. Ensure that the NetScaler Gateway can resolve the STA FQDN. Alternatively you can also use the STA server IP address instead of FQDN.

Ensure that the DNS name resolves XenDesktop resources. For information refer to CTX135250 - How to Enable DNS Address Resolution in XenDesktop.

If you are using a firewall then temporarily disable the firewall.

Ensure that the STA(s) are configured on the NetScaler and StoreFront servers.

Make sure that the STAs on the StoreFront and NetScaler servers match.

If NetScaler is set up in GSLB (Active/Passive) mode then add STAs on the NetScaler from the opposite site locations. This issue occurs because the STAs are added to the NetScaler from its own location. ??

Ensure that the firewall rule allows SNIP to reach all of the VDA IP's on TCP port 1494/2598 depending on your setup or if you have enabled session reliability.

Ensure that the Desktop can communicate to the controller through the NetScaler Gateway.
