Objective
This article provides information on how to configure the Citrix Profile Management with XenClient Enterprise.
The basic steps of configuring Citrix Profile Management are to install an agent in the desktop (physical or virtual), create a user data store and configure a Group Policy. In case of XenClient, a NxPrepExtend.cmd file is required to be placed in the master (or golden) image before the image is downloaded by the user.Instructions

Download the NxPrepExtend.cmd.zip file.

Unzip the NxPrepExtend.cmd.zip.

Copy the NxPrepExtend.cmd file to C:\ of the golden image in the XenClient Synchronizer.

Install the Profile Management agent in the golden image. Refer to the Installation Guide for more details.

Publish the golden image in the XenClient Synchronizer.
Citrix Profile Manager
Citrix Profile Manager is bundled as a part of Citrix XenDesktop and can be downloaded from web package section of XenDesktop downloads.
Complete the following steps to download Citrix Profile Manager:

Log on??to My Account through http://www.citrix.com/myaccount.

Click the Downloads tab.

In the Find Downloads section:

Select Product from the??drop-down and select XenDesktop.

Select the Download Type.

Choose the Product Software.

From the results, click the latest version of XenDesktop.

Download the Profile Management software.

Note: The manner in which Microsoft operating systems handle wallpapers makes it challenging for profile management software to consistently roam wallpapers across physical and virtual desktops and also between virtual desktops.
