Installing and Uninstalling this Release
Note: This version is packaged as a .zip file containing the replacement PVS PowerShell SDK.msi file. For more information about deploying these, see Microsoft article 884016 or visit the Microsoft Web site and search on keyword msiexec.
To install this hotfix:
- Copy the new file to a shared folder on the network.
- Unpackage the .zip file and save the PVS PowerShell SDK.msi file on the computer you want to update.
- Run the .msi file.
- Restart the computer if prompted to do so.
Using this release to update an existing installation:
- Uninstall the existing SDK.
- Copy the new file to a shared folder on the network.
- Unpackage the .zip file and save the PVS PowerShell SDK.msi file on the computer you want to update.
- Run the .msi file.
- Restart the computer if prompted to do so.
If it does not exist already, this will add a new entry, PVS PowerShell SDK x86, to the Add/Remove Programs list.
To uninstall this release:
- From the Start menu, select Settings > Control Panel.
- In Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- Highlight PVS PowerShell SDK x86 and click Change/Remove.
- Follow the directions on-screen.
